Random Update: End of September

Str8 left Monday, for work, and is on his off time, and not driving down.  I think its more for peace and quiet than driving 8+ hrs to be here for a few hrs with me.  Apparently as the 'missy', I rather do the role well.  Maybe too well...pout.
I had a day off yesterday, not much really done.  Although, I watched Desperate Housewives, Doctor Who, and 2 & 1/2 Men....Saving my domestics for buying the videos..
Which means really no cleaning done.  Meh.  I am working on regaining my focus on life again.  Something I have been not doing, for a while.  Also like depression.  I figure it has something to do with the time of year.  Memory plays games and about a yr now, it only gets worse.  Wonder what that means....

And a good friend, and neighbour was let go at work today.. so sad.. I am really sick with it.  I wish I could help her and her family out.  Rough times for them. Such bad timing.

New Snack Food

Finally convinced Mr. Str8 to try to get healthy.  After 2 yrs of feeding him veggie, and international cuisine, got him to stop eating bags of cheese crunchies, crisps, and pretzel bits....

Battle of the Quotes: Str8 vs. Diva

1) ME: “Ah, hello?!  Breakfast is ready.  Eat it cold if you want, watev.”     VS.    
MR. STR8: “Are you not ready yet?!  You’re gonna miss your bus.  Put the computer down!”

2) ME: “Wow.  Really?  Must of had a good day on the video game, conquering the universe.  Guess dinner is gonna be late..since I have to clean the sink full of dishes sitting here.”     VS.                                                                                                  
MR. STR8: “Thought you said you cleaned up the house?  Looks the same as when I left- 4 days ago!”

3) ME: “Wow Honey, we had 8 litres of ice cream!”     MR.STR8: “I left you some.”     ME: “What?  8 tablespoons?!”    VS.                                                                   
MR. STR8: “What do you mean you ate a whole loaf of bread in 3 days?  And no, I am not going to eat your stale crackers instead of toast!”
